PEITC in watercress kills cancer cells

Hi all. Great news if you like watercress. Watercress, broccolli, cauliflower and cabbage all contain PEITC. But watercress contains the most.

So lets hear a theory of mine.

All cancers produce excessive amounts of reactive oxygen species (ROS). That is the bad oxidants that everybody tries to prevent. If the level of ROS is elevated even more by radiation or chemotherapy, cancer cells die. That is why doctors say do not take antioxidants with chemo or radiation.

Studies show that if you deplete the natural antioxidant Glutathione in the cancer cells, they will die. So basicly, you have increased the ROS. PEITC will increase the concentration of ROS in the cells by forming a compound with Glutathione. This compound is then excreted out of the cells. So the levels of the antioxidant Glutathione is decreased. PEITC also will bind with and inhibit the activity of glutathione peroxidase, the enzyme that scavenges ROS.

A university study showed how giving PEITC at low concentrations killed leukemia cells by oxidative stress. It is like giving your own chemo.

PEITC also decreased levels fo pro inflammatory compounds that can cause chronic inflammation diseases such as,rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and Alzheimer's disease and cancer.

Egg Whites Prevent Angiogenesis

Some more research we found.

Isoleucine is an amino acid which is very abundant in egg whites. In a study done in Japan showed that isoleucine fed to lab mice prevented liver metastases. They found that it down-regulated angiogenesis (the forming of new blood supply to cancer cells) by the inhibition of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF). Importantly, isoleucine is safe for humans because it does not affect normal cell viability.

So you can get your daily intake by eating egg whites or buying bulk isoluecine on the internet.

Sodium Selenite Eats Away the Protective Coat Around Cancer Cells

Hi All

Did you know that hypoxic cancer cells have a protective coat around them that makes them invisable to Natural Killer immune cells? Well they do. Most cancer cells live in a low oxygen environment. In this environment they produce an insoluble fibrin coating around the cell. This insoluble fibrin coating masks the antigens on the tumor membrane allowing them to evade the immune system.

Well good news.

The supplement Sodium Selenite oxidizes the cancer's cell membrane. It eats away at the protective coat. Now the cancer cell's antigens are exposed to the immune system. Natural Killer cells can now detect and destroy the cells.

d-Limonene

Hi all

Remember the orange cleaner on TV? Well the active compound is d-limonene. It is produced from citrus peels. This monoterpene shows some great anti cancer properties. It turns off the RAS tumor gene.

RAS is activated in most cancers. If you turn off RAS, then the IL 24 immune complex is turned on. When IL 24 is produced from immune cells it destroys tumor cells. Many cancer cells are resistant to it because of the activated RAS gene blocks it production. So in review, if we block the RAS gene with d-limonene the anti cancer IL 24 immune complex is produced.

So this common cleaner is a great anti cancer fighter. Who knew? Buy it in capsule form.

Vitamin A Helps Kill Cancer

Hi all

I have been doing some research on how vitamin A kills cancer cells.

There is a enzyme that causes cell growth called PI3K. This enzyme activates another enzyme called AKT. AKT will protect cancer from death. Vitamin A turns off the AKT enzyme by blocking PI3K activity. So vitamin A stops the PI3K enzyme from being produced, thereby preventing the downstream activation of the cancer promoting AKT enzyme.

Vitamin A also helps to interfere with the production of the cancer promoting Cox 2 enzyme. The Cox 2 enzyme produces the prostaglandin PGE2, which promotes cancer growth. It does so by inhibiting the production of the genetic factor C/EBP beta. This enzyme promotes Cox 2 production. With the Cox 2 enzyme turned off cancer cells die off.

So vitamin A, a fat soluble molecule also call Retinoic Acid helps us in our fight against cancer.

glutamine

Hi all. So what does glutamine do in high doses? It decreases the natural anti oxide in your cancer cells, called GSH. With a lower GSH, cancer cells are unstable and die faster. Think of chemo and radiation. They cause an oxidation in your cells, and that is what kills them. So why not do it naturally? A lower GSH will kill cancer cells by causing an increase in the natural oxidation. Look it up. Buy the glutamine at your local health food store. Combine it with juice and drink your way to health.

So glutamine is an amino acid that many body builders take to bulk up after they exercise. We take it to decrease GSH. Oh, and another thing, it also decreases the nasty Nuclear Factor kappa Beta. NF kappa Beta is the factor that causes inflammation. When it is activated, many down stream pro cancer chemicals are formed. Did you know that most chemo and radiation causes NF kappa Beta to turn on? So why not take something that not only decreases GSH and NF kappa Beta. A double whammy.

Many university studies show that when you decrease GSH and NF kappa Beta cancer cells die. To your good health.

Hi all. This is my first post. So you must think I have Pancreatic cancer. Well I do. Had a Whipple surgery on 8/07, then 2 rounds of chemo and one of radiation. Still have chemo fog, hard to think straight, concentrate, multi task and remember facts. Oh well, still here. I take some interesting food, supplements and meds to keep me going. My wife and I have some ideas on what causes, spreads and treats cancer. In this blog I hope to explain our theories.

What causes cancer
In my mind cancer is caused by chronic inflammation. So what is chronic inflammation? It is the constant attack of your cells by the wrong foods, oils, smoke, chemicals, stress and medication. It will lower your immunity and cause DNA damage. Your natural immune cells can not destroy the rapidly growing cancer cells. So what to do? Stop the factors causing the chonic inflammation and boost up the immune system.
